We did not get a chance to see Gillmor. The Snobs were playing when we got to the park they were pretty awesome. The Brodys are a party band and enjoyed them the most. Both bands were quite impressive. The drummer for the Brodys was behind his drums for most of the gig and did not get a good picture of him.

No pudimos ver a Gillmor. Los Snobs tocaban cuando llegamos al parque y las dos bandas fueron muy buenas. Los Brodys son una banda para pachangas y me gustaron más. Los dos grupos me gustaron mucho. El batería tocaba todo el tiempo detraz de sus tambores y no pude tomar un buen foto de él.

242 - Le Cognat de Napoleon

I have not had a drink in about a week or so and noticed I still had my favorite celebratory drink. We were able to celebrate the near end of a long week and two semi-new jobs. So, à la vôtre!

No he tenido un buen trago en más de una semana y me di cuenta que todavía tenia my bebida favorita para festejar. Celebramos casi llegar al fin de una larga semana y dos casi nuevos trabajos. Como dicen en francés; à la vôtre!

243 - Window Ventana

This is a picture looking up inside a building to a set of windows that showed light coming in from the other side. I think it would have been a better shot if I had not used the telephoto lens.

Esta foto la tomé mirando hacia arriba de un edificio hacia unas ventanas que pasan la luz del otro lado. Creo que pudiera ser una foto mejor si no hubiera usado el lente teleobjetivo.

244 - Shadows Sombras

I took this shadow picture and wanted to do something with it before I posted it for today's blog. I looked at a couple of programs that can enhance photos and realized that the free one that comes with Windows Vista, although limited in its functions, can do some editing. I would try photoshop but to me it seems too complicated. The first picture is the original and the other two were made by playing with light and color changes.

Tomé esta foto de mi sombra y quize hacer algo con ésta antes de ponerlo en este blog. He usado unos programas que mejoran fotos y realize que el programa que viene gratis con Vista de Microsoft, aunque sea poco limitado a lo que puede hacer, todavía tiene sus usos. Quiziera usar photoshop pero para mi parece un poco complicado. Bueno la primera foto es la original y las otras dos las hice usando sólo manipulando los colores y luz.

245 - Blimp

I thought this was a Goodyear blimp but it turned out to be an Outback blimp. I don't even know where we have an Outback restaurant.

Crei que era un blimp de Goodyear pero fue uno del restaurante Outback. No se donde hay uno de estos restaurantes por aquí.
(Nota para el Gato Negro o alguien que sepa; ¿como se dice blimp en español?)

246 - BOSS

Been visiting different congregations last week I visited BOSS (Bayside of South Sacramento) which meets at Sacramento city College. Today there was a service and celebration for kids in the community. Also, as seen above, some baptisms were performed and some performers played. We stayed to see Daryl Black and Marcelle perform.

He hido a varias congregaciones y la última semana visité la iglesia Bayside del Sur de Sacramento. Hoy hubo un servicio y celebracion para los niños de la comunidad. También, como ve arriba, unos bautismos y músicos tocaron. Performaron Daryl Black y a Marcelle (y otros que no vimos).

247 - Murals @ Jack'sMurales en Jack's

Had lunch at Jack's in Sacramento, the murals above decorate the outside of the building.

Almorzé en el restaurante Jack's en Sacramento, los murales arriba decoran el afuera del edificio.
